Seeing no appointment slots does not automatically mean you completed the process incorrectly. It can mean the selected unit has no suitable availability at that moment, but it can also result from choosing the wrong service, the wrong unit or an incomplete earlier step.

Start with the official rule: the Polícia Federal FAQ directs applicants to use the official scheduling system and, when no dates are available, to contact the responsible unit. The responsible unit is generally connected to where you live.

1. Confirm that you are using the correct official flow

Use the immigration service pages on gov.br/pf. Check that your request is for the correct immigration service and that any required online form or protocol step has already been completed. A browser problem or the wrong service selection can look like a shortage.

2. Confirm the responsible PF unit

Do not assume that any city in Brazil can handle your case. Jurisdiction and local procedures can vary. Compare the unit shown in the official flow with the city and address connected to your residence. If you are considering another city, ask the responsible unit first instead of booking on an assumption.

3. Keep simple evidence

Save the date and time you checked, the selected service and unit, and a screenshot that does not expose unnecessary personal data. This creates a clear record if you need to explain the issue to the unit. Do not publish protocol numbers, document numbers or contact details in a public forum.

4. Contact the unit through the official route

The PF FAQ says to contact the unit when there is no availability. Keep the message concise: identify the service, your city, the responsible unit, any deadline you are facing, and the dates when you tried the official system. Ask what procedure that unit recommends.

5. Avoid fixed “slot release time” claims

Public discussions often repeat claims that slots always appear on a certain weekday or at a specific hour. We found no official nationwide schedule that supports a universal release time. Treat those claims as anecdotes, not rules.

When monitoring assistance may help

If you have already confirmed the correct unit and official flow but cannot keep checking, an independent monitoring service can watch the agreed criteria and assist when a suitable slot appears. It does not create availability, bypass controls or guarantee a date.

This page provides general process information, not legal advice. Official rules and unit procedures can change. Always confirm your case with Polícia Federal. Official appointments are free; Vaga Clara charges only for independent monitoring and scheduling assistance.
